Hu Shang Seafood Hot Pot & BBQ Buffet

Had such a great experience here! The ingredients were super fresh, the soup base was really flavorful, and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Portions were generous and definitely worth the price. Perfect spot for a cozy meal with family or friends—I’ll definitely be coming back!

A fantastic buffet experience! The variety was impressive — fresh seafood, quality meats, crisp veggies, and even a dessert spread at the end. Loved that you can enjoy both hot pot and BBQ at the same table. The sauce station was a highlight — perfect for creating your own dip combinations. Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks were a great bonus. Generous portions, good quality, and plenty of choice — definitely worth coming back $53pp and cash back off your next visit !!

There’s a good selection of hotpot ingredients with seafood items I haven’t seen elsewhere in Brisbane. Soup bases are individually selected so you don’t need to fight over which to choose. There is also a bbq at the table which was a nice surprise for us. The service is attentive and the whole vibe feels very authentic.

Clean and tidy environment, lots of seafood choices, and everything is super fresh! The grilled dishes taste amazing. The staff are friendly and always quick to refill the food. Great value for money — perfect for friends or family gatherings. I’ll definitely come back!

This is our first visit to this restaurant and it won’t be our last. The restaurant has a great ambiance, they’ve put a lot of work into creating a bright, inviting, spacious and interesting dining experience. The restaurant is a hot plate and hot pot buffet with cooked hot food available. I’d happily give them 100% and I’ll be recommending this restaurant to my friends.

Took mum out for lunch and both of us have decided this might need to be a regular treat! There was so much to choose from and normally that would be overwhelming for me, but everything had its own section with similar ingredients which made the process of choosing much easier. It took us a while to really get the hang of the home made sauces but once we did there was no going back. Then, everytime we started to collect shells on a plate, the staff very quickly whisked them away all while offering us a top up on our soup. The flavours were amazing and we each had our own soup so didn't need to compromise on personal taste. This is not the place to come for fine dining and silverware... it is a place to enjoy your meal no matter how messy your fingers and mouth get. And if you have any doubts as to how to eat the ingredients, the staff were friendly and happy to teach us. All you need is a bit of patience and a willingness to try something new. Edit: we returned with the rest of the family and everything was just as good as it was the first time. This time though we had the teenage boy with us and even though it was a significant bill for the 5 of us, we succeeded in filling the bottomless pit that is the 13yr old stomach. Everyone loved the fact that we had our own soup bowls and didn't need to share the weird concoction made by the walking cavern. He loved the fact that there was no limit imposed on his feast. The youngest got to explore seafood she normally has to share with mum and thinks she's eaten so much squid that she's going to grow a tail. The adults are more than comfortably full and wondering if it's bad parenting to nap as soon as we get home and leave the kids to fend for themselves.

The restaurant has a good service attitude ~ The variety of food is also very complete. I especially recommend dessert, which tastes super good.٩(ˊωˋ*)و
